So voting time is coming around for you all! Oh what fun!
So I’d be really keen to find out how many of you all know exactly how the ‘vote card’ works. Well I have very little idea for one.
What I would say, is that preferential voting seems a good way to corrupt the outcome.
One person…one vote, you vote for who you want, irrespective of party and they collectively elect a leader from their ranks.
We have been let down by the major parties, they seem to play just about the same game, fawning to the elite rich, hard to tell if some of them are far right, centre right, centre left, or far left, like everything else our speech is being bent out of shape by PC mandates and our right to free speech and opinion are being perverted and in the end eliminated.
My solution, peaceful resistance…just say NO. No I won’t vote, pay the fine if you can afford it, AND if enough people don’t vote and you all say NO to the fine, what are they going to do ? Take 500,000 to court and put em in jail….I don’t think so.
If not there are some ways you can run your how to vote card to get better outcomes.
To vote is a right that our forebears fought for and it shouldn’t be given away, but it shouldn’t be compulsory, some people care too little to take a concern with it and we’re better off without their lack of insight and opinion.
Just say no works on a lot of levels, it takes guts, but maybe we have all gone a bit soft and we need to ‘grow some’ or risk losing the life we have, if you look around long enough you can see it is being eroded continuously and only we can halt its cancerous spread. Ta

Howdy All

Jam Stuff
The bad news
No Jam this Tuesday, the Annandale has rented their room out for this week to AIM, so, no room for us, but we do return on Tuesday the 30th of April.
This week there is only the Carousel on Thursday.
Next week on Anzac day (25th) there will be no jam at the Carousel, they like to avoid the trouble, that often occurs late on Anzac day, so only Coogee next week
The Good news
We are moving rooms at the Carousel from the Sports bar, to the bar in the middle of the Pub, we were in there before during renovations, I like this room, it’s far more cosy and you can bring young budding musicians along now.
Paul and I will be away from the Caro this week, that should bring a few out! Paul O’Brien Tuesdays (Annandale ), Tony Pedroza Wednesdays (Coogee), Paul Surany Carousel.
Numbers down out west, tell a friend we need a hand here! but always room for more. Double the crowd….bring a friend.

Crown Hotel Friday 15th March and Native Rose Sunday 17th March were both crackers of gigs. Thanks to Michael Barry and Paul Read for their input on Friday.
Sunday at the Native Rose was just a cavalcade of stars, Thanks to Irish John, Paul Read, Martin Skipper, Paula McMahon, Lucy De Soto and of course Roscoe Waraker who played up a storm on both nights.

Jim & Lesley moving again, thanks to those of you who have offered help with the move, they are moving on Sunday 7
th April, 10 am, so if you have some spare time they would appreciate the hand. Shouldn’t take more than 4 hours end to end.
So a pretty busy weekend for Finn, Raby last Saturday with Paula and then 2 spots at The Hawkesbury for the Big Blues bash #2, a great day of music, many thanks to Peter Fricker and Tate’s Hotel, all the staff and Blake and all the Crew. By all accounts Blakes mixing was superb.

Visitors to Site in March, 1415, of those 380 were new visitors fro all over the Globe, and of those 314 were visitors from Australia, so I know you are all taking advantage of the Site. With 151 New visitors from Sydney, perhaps its time for you to translate that to bums on seats at Gigs. Gather your friends, make it a big night out, dinner, the lot, and grab yourself a copy of the New Album, there are some great tracks on it.

Till next time
