Benefit Gig for John Power
There will be a benefit gig for John Power
John played with….The Hippos, Fore Day Riders and Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons to name a few. He was a stalwart in the Aussie music scene for many years.
Unfortunately John had been fighting illness for quite a while and lost that fight. We will celebrate his life at the Bridge Hotel Tuesday 15/1/2019. $25 donation. Says 6pm start but check with the Bridge.
To celebrate his life, many of his musical colleagues/friends will perform at this memorial show.

The jam at the Annandale Hotel begins on Tuesday 22nd of January, With Tony Pedroza kicking off in the guitar spot. Every second Tuesday. Our second Tuesday at the Annandale we have a very special treat for you. Gwynn Ashton will be playing with us as guest on the night. Gwyn is an amazing exponent of all sorts of guitaring, from swampy dobro slide through to …well just about anything, if it’s bluesy, Gwyn’s got it covered. More info at
Coogee begins Wednesday 16/1/19. Our very Special guest on that night will be Darren ‘Jacko’ Jack, I know you all really enjoyed Jacko last time so expect more of the same, More on Jacko

Describing themselves as a Rhythm and Blues group may be somewhat misleading, it would be more apt to say they are "Americana," a fusion of Blues/Rockabilly/Country/Rock and Jazz. Finns Music is reminiscent of a time when the audience toe tapped, clicking fingers, playing ghost guitars while listening, and got up and danced seemingly drawn by some unseen force, their bodies transported into movement. Blending a mix of covers with unique originals, Finn becomes more of an experience to be had rather than a Band to be listened to.

Thanks to you all for your constant support throughout 2018, So onwards and upwards in 2019,
Things are looking up already. Finn will be on a nice little Blues Festival Bill in Toronto (near Newcastle) on Saturday 16th Feb. more to follow, but put this on your calendar. The line-up for the day is:- Finn, Steve Edmonds Band, Bondi Cigars, Mal Eastick Band and closing the Show Kevin Borich Express, nuff said, Tickets available soon.

Great news everybody, we begin a fortnightly jam at the Annandale Hotel on Tuesday 22nd of January, So we will do every second Tuesday from then and Coogee every second Wednesday beginning 16/1/19. Check date below if confused….I’m on holidays and keeping this short
